There are hundreds of thousands of artifacts, photos, and personal items belonging to Elvis and his family in the archives, and each week the archivists at Graceland pull a different photo to share with members only.

Elvis rides Rising Sun, his Golden Palomino Quarter Horse, and Bear, his Tennessee Walking Horse, at Graceland and greets fans at the gate and the southwest pasture. This is part of the home movie footage donated to our archives by Elvis fan Peggy Adkins. Peggy said she shot this in February 1968, the week Lisa Marie was born.

In 1956, Elvis recorded an interview answering questions about his life and exploding career, including addressing some of the gossip. The interview was for a record inserted into a specialty magazine called Elvis Answers Back - The Truth About Me.
